Meet our
Horses
Harley Sportster
The Harley Sportser (Harley) is a hackney pony and at 32 the oldest of our farm herd. Britt received him as a Christmas present when he was 12. He came out of an abusive situation where he did not trust anyone. Britt worked to gain his trust and trained him to become a Reserve World Champion in 2004. He now is retired and enjoys roaming the farm and being spoiled.
Sugar
Sugar was found in a kill pen in Florida. She spent a year healing a leg injury in a foster home in South Carolina and now lives on our farm. She is partially blind in one eye and has scars from old injuries. She is gentle and trusting even after years of abuse.
Mavis Stables
One day when Britt and Kelley drove up the driveway they noticed a third horse in the back yard. Mavis came from a nearby farm where she was the last of the herd they had. After switching owners, being abused by one of them, and loosing her herd mates, she needed a safe pasture. We adopted her and a horse that once bucked anyone off and ran away, now runs to us and follows us around the farm.
